LIP SEAL FITTINGS

 

Prior techniques failed to generate leak-free connections allowing for sample loss or contamination. AFP Lip Seal fitting designs create redundant sealing surfaces to ensure a gas-tight connection. Ultimately by preventing sample loss or contamination, instrument sensitivity can be maximized to enable trace detection or analysis.

 

• Fully swept flow path: zero dead volume with our patented Lip Seal design minimizes carryover or potential for false positives.

• Two levels of sealing at tube end and ferrule contact point provides maximum operator safety, critical for processes using toxic or combustible gases. Ferrules coated with compliant materials also create better seals.

• Easy installation: anti-friction coating and fine pitch threads significantly reduce torque required for assembly.
